Naked Underground Defined
... what happens during public ensemble performances over an extended period of time where there is no written music, rehearsal, directions, and no stopping. The surrounding environment generally sucks, and the audience often could give a damn, and nobody knows when and where the whole thing will end up ... yet amazingly it gets there taking on a definite shape, structure, and definition. The place where it arrives I call the Naked Underground.
